Abstract: Objective Through the investigation of a cluster epidemic of fever accompanied by thrombocytopenia syndrome, this study analyzes its clinical characteristics and prognosis to provide evidence for the identification, diagnosis, interpersonal transmission chain, and prevention measures of SFTS cluster epidemics. Method Case searches were conducted based on confirmed indicators, and basic information, incidence, clinical symptoms, and prognosis of the group were collected. Analysis of the causes, transmission routes, clinical symptoms, diagnosis and treatment, and prognostic characteristics of a clustered SFTS outbreak in Hefei, Anhui Province in November 2023. Result This cluster epidemic involved one primary case and ten secondary cases, all of which were family cluster cases. All ten patients had liver dysfunction, eight had thrombocytopenia and leukopenia, five had abnormal coagulation function and elevated myoglobin, seven had positive urine protein, four had hematuria, and three had renal dysfunction;among the 10 secondary cases, 9 improved and 1 died. Conclusion This group of SFTS cluster epidemics has obvious epidemiological characteristics and typical clinical features, which should be taken seriously. Strengthening the management of SFTS fatalities is conducive to reducing the risk of interpersonal transmission.
