Abstract: Brucellosis is one of the most common zoonotic diseases in the world and is widespread worldwide. It was originally discovered on the Mediterranean island of Malta and was named "Malta fever".Later, in order to commemorate the British doctor Bruce who first isolated the Brucella pathogen, it was renamed Brucellosis. Brucella can invade all systems of the human body. The clinical manifestations are often non-specific. The most common manifestations are fever, sweating, muscle pain, lymphadenopathy or hepatosplenomegaly. Therefore, imaging examination is very important for the timely diagnosis and treatment of the disease. B-ultrasound, X-ray, CT, MRI and PET radionuclide imaging have corresponding effects. B ultrasound is the basic means of inspection, the heart, pericardium infection, hepatosplenomegaly, body surface lymph nodes and Brucella orchitis has a certain diagnostic value. X-ray is simple and suitable for primary screening. It can observe the chest lesions of Brucella and the changes of bone and joint in the later stage, but the sensitivity is poor due to overlapping images. CT found that the high sensitivity of the lesion, the systemic infection of brucellosis have important diagnostic significance for the nervous system, joints and spine of the early lesions show poor. PET radionuclide imaging can accurately show the lesion site. MRI with multi-sequence, multi-modality and good soft tissue resolution is considered the "gold standard" of brucellosis imaging diagnosis.
